cause a revolt

Hi,

would like some peoples opinion. trying to conquer territories without actually declaring war. There must be a way to cause a faction, city to revolt due to religious unrest etc. Can anyone suggest ways of causing theses events to take place.

Hi everyone!
I havent played for a while now, just because i used to get frustrated getting CTDs while playing battles.

I just played as the Ottoman empire and where sieging Serbia(Had to get it back lol), it where going to be a really hard battle.. Because the Austrians where over powered..

What is a good ratio of trade ports to ship yards?

What determines the maximum amount of countries you can trade with? How many trade ports is too many? I cant remember the settlement but i remember making a fishery into a trade port thinking it would allow me to trade with one more country. When the trade port was built i didnt get the ability for another trade partner and the port didnt even have a trade route going into it, which i thought was wierd.

i started a new prussia GC after not playing for a really long time
and again
war is all over the place!
its annoying as hell
i cant concentrate on my eco and i get killed all the time cause austria PL denmark and little annoying german states

it h\h
and dont tell me to lower the level cause than no one does a thing and i take over the world to easly

so
any of you know a good way to keep peace for some years so i can get my eco good?

Why take a nation as a protectorate?

Why would i want to take Denmark as my protectorate as Prussia? Yeah i get half of thier income, but if i take then over completely i would get 100% lol. I just dont see a bonus in taking a country under my wing when i can just destroy them.

ok so i am realy happy that we are finally getting the MP campaign but my game is still broken.....
CA i need a CTD bug fix!!!! alll battles that have lots of units 10\15 anywhere around there and i get a ctd... its just bull !+%!... i even downloaded darthmod to get wride of the melee bug... i hate modes! but i downloaded this one anyway!! melee bug gone but now i have a freakin ctd problem!!!! why cant you people just give us a freakin patch that can fix this already!!!! its bin more...

How do I skip directly to RTI episode IV?

Sorry if this has been answered before, but I cannot find this information. I have reinstalled ETW on my old PC and I want to play Episode IV but the episodes are not unlocked and I'm supposed to play through the whole RTI. Any way to play directly episode IV?

When the first big patch came out CA surprised us with Elite Units of the West.

When Warpath came out the surprised us with the Special Forces DLC.

When MP Campaign and Elite Units of America comes out will we get another surprise?

I was just playing RTI ch. 4 and came across a british generall named jack lusted......

the AI was so godly I forgot what I was doing and just watched it form what seemed like perfect lines and reacted to what I was doing almost professionally..

so I was just curious if any one else came across him or under what circumstances I can find him again.

In preparation for the MP campaign beta, I'd love a chance to try it out with someone who's living here. I don't want to have to wake up in an ungodly hour just to try it. I know beggars cannot be choosers, but I'd really prefer someone who's mature. No screaming 12 year-old who has to have his dinner when mommy calls him.

We need more DLC's, that expand Grand Campaign

Hi there,
Don't get me wrong, so far DLC's were pretty great, except for the Warpath Thing, which seems more like a one-off campaign.
Empire is deep and great, but what we really need here is DLC's that EXPAND the Grand Campaign, add another level to the gameplay. And this is is what us, the hardcore fans are really looking forward to - trust me, all will pay happily to see new DLC's that will add further detail to GC.
Things like the newly announced Elite units...

Does the speed at which you conquer lands affect your expansionist rating?

As far as diplomacy goes was just wondering if the speed at which you capture regions affects your expansionist rating. If i conquer some land and just pause for a while will it start to decrease so the entire world doesnt hate me? I hate the idea of giving gifts to others just so i can conquer their enemy lol.

I know a few people aren't happy with the dlc, so I've added some ideas:

War of 27 years (Between the Marathas and Moghuls)
The War of the Spanish Succession (A few countries who have fewer units could be upgraded here)
Russo-Persian War (Extra units for Russia, Persia and the Ottomans)
War of the Polish Succession (Poland, Russia, Austria, plus Saxony could be made playable)
War of the Austrian Succession (Includes all the major European nations...
