I've been doing some tinkering to add more officers to units (didn't even realise there were Musicians until I looked at the Officers section of dscr_model_battle!) and I discovered that there isn't really an Egyptian officer in the form of the Greek or Roman one. RTR Spearmen

Hey all, I had a question regarding the RTR mod and spearmen, I've noticed in battle that the spearmen all fight in an EXTREMELY tight formation, for instance, Italian Spearmen are all compacted together and are not fighting in any real formation, like they are trying to push through a position instead of fighting in formation. Europa Barbarorum and steam question

I recently reinstalled RTW through steam (the gold edition that came with ETW), thought id try out Europa Barbarorum, seemed to install fine but when i tried to get it going I got an error message saying "cant find steam". Does anyone know where I should install the mod to, i think i might have put it int he wrong destination.

Movie Cam - Rendering Video and Audio

I guess technically this isn't exactly Mod related, but I thought this was the most relevant place to post:

I am trying to capture Video and Audio using the RTW movie cam. I followed the Documentation instructions but it seems that when I reload the replay by pressing R nothing happens. It just reloads like normal and nothing renders. This happens with both video and audio.

I was inspired by some of the custom movies in mods like RTR, so I hope some modders could help...

hello all, (new 2 moddin)
iam getting frustrated with the "vanilla" r:tw a main reason bein the a.i is retarded, the main retardation bein a factions dilplomacy and military are never thinking the same thing!
im sure iam not the only one, all i want is a mod with a total a.i overhaul with maybe some m2:tw graphics and maybe a few more factions. please advise.

Roma Surrectum II: This mod rocks! I loved the original and now they are making a sequel!It will have great graphics, quite similar to M2:TW ones. It will have a differant economics system. is there a mod for building in one turn, i had one but it made the game crash i know there is a cheat for it,
also when doing the cheat to change date i cant seem to get it right nor does it work when i go to desc strat and change it sorry for borthing u all for such simple matters i know u guys have better questions to replay to

Hello.

I downloaded EB. I have Vista. When I pressed the EB icon (in the downloads section where I saved it), nothing happened. The Setup window briefly appeared at the bottom but then disappeared. How do I play EB? Is it because I don't have R:TW v. 1.5? I have R:TW Gold Edition (with Barbarian Invasion).

Please Help

I have the game "Total War" but when I put the CD into my computer it doesn't recognize it so I can't get it to start. I tried putting the CD into another computer and it worked fine, any ideas?

ive given up playing empire until i can build a new pc and ive played medII and rtw to death. its dawned on me that i never really played bi that much because well... its kinda ugly. expecially the wre units which was the only faction i was looking forward to playing. i haven't really played bi so i can't say i have any problems with its ai and honestly there are only 4 units (3 fairly hideous and 1 that doesn't exist) that annoy me. so a complete mod of the game isn't really...
