Invailed CD key??

I check the forums and tried everything. but when i try login in, it give me the invailed Cd key error..... I uninstalled it about a month ago and reinstalled it today an trying to play some multiplayer.... can anyone help me??

Hi,

I've purchased a downloadable copy of Medieval Total War II (from direct2drive.com). After downloading the 6 GB zip file, I unzipped it and tried to run the included setup file. When I clicked "Allow" on the Vista User Account Control dialog, a command prompt popped up and disappeared. Followed by nothing.

I tried changing the compatibility mode settings, to XP SP2 for instance, but got the same results. Finally I opened a command prompt in Admin mode and...

Hello everyone. I search into the deepest forums to solve my problem, and I can't get nothing close. I'm sorry in advance to the moderators if I didn't put my thread on the right section.

alternative keyboard fix (shell pop up)

Some people have been having issues with the medieval shell popping up and theres has beeen some sucess fixing it with updating keyboard driers, but not for me, i found another fix for those who use generic keyboards or dell laptops(dell dont update keyboard drivers)

Anyways the fix is simple, download acer launch manager and have it while running with the game, the reason for this is that acer and dell laptops use the same keyboards, and the acer launch manager seems to filter out...

I don't have vista so how should I install it as an administrator??

Kingdoms Not Reading

Just recently I have discovered that my Kingdoms disk is not being read by my computer. I cannot open ANY of the campaigns. Even trying to open it through "My Computer" does not work. I was tempted to think it was a scratch or defect on the disk but a few other games I own are having the same issue. Any Help would be most welcome :)

Question about computer lag with Kingdoms, but not MTW2 [Update 9600M drivers]

I just recently installed mtw2/kingdoms on my laptop. I can seem to run mtw2 fine with all settings on high, but for some reason when I try to play Kingdoms there is a small lag/hiccup every 2-3 seconds. I tried setting all the Kingdoms visual settings to low, but that didn't make any difference. I realize laptops aren't best for gaming, but I figured I could still run it on the lowest settings at the least.

I have had medieval 2 and kingdoms for a while and they worked fine, then the other night I wanted to try the retro fit mod, it wouldn't install saying I didn't have kingdoms, and now when ever I go into a battle the game crashes with an unspecified error, I have the direct2drive version of both, I have uninstalled and reinstalled, and still have the same problem.

Ok stay so when I play on the world map; it's fine. But if I enter a battle it instantly starts lagging. I've checked the usual suspects, none of them are responsible. I know this laptop is a heap, but it totally cleared the minimum specs.

Game was working fine. Then I installed Patch 1.2

I had uninstalled and erased everything, then did a clean install restarting at the appropriate intervals. Then it's a repeat... Game works fine until I install the 1.2 Patch.

Without the patch most of the little bugs get really annoying further into the game.

Hi.

I've just changed my screen, from 17" (1280*1024) to 22" (1680*1050).

M2 worked well with my old screen, but in the new display resolution the image is stretched and I can't bear it after some minutes. I have yet found 1680*1050 resolution in settings, and tested "Wide screen" option. But nothing seems to work.

I've got M2TW 1.3, and the following configuration : C2D E8400, 4 Gb DDR2, 8800 GTS, Windows XP and a Samsung T220. No...

I've been looking around but cant seem to find an answer for this problem...

I've been trying to get a game going at home with my girlfriend. I can see her in the lobby but whenever either of us try to host a game it never pops up for the other person. She has a wireless vista laptop and I'm using XP on my computer. We're both on the same patch and all that but just dont see games.. any thoughts??

I've also had this super annoying problem with another game.
I know how to fix it but does anyone know where the folder is where you can change full screen mode or the display mode?
I can't find it. Really could use some help from techies here.

Hello , i have been playing mtw2 fine for the last couple of weeks , then all of a sudden it doesnt boot up the game disc when inserted into my drive.

The kingdoms.exe process is shown when looking at task manager but nothing happens.

I have a feeling this might be a problem with securom and my dvd player ??
