Hey!I have a question for the game makers: if the otomans don't get well with the romanians(people from the Wallachia and Moldova) will they revolt in 1877-1878( and make the War of Independence) and create the Romania? Sure if the game reach that time???

I wanna know that Can we built new cities in game?? For example Peter the Great built St. Petersburg if yes could be great cause in all Anatolia I saw just Ankara and in 1700s it wasnt the biggest city of Anatolia. I was expecting at least Izmir (Symirnia) and Trabzon must be in the game...

by the way i have seen pictures of "Crackers" 18. and 19. centuries. so this shows that they have existed in those centuries and so i hope we can see in ETW..

Yes..they were exactly for med2. but i saw this site just these days and got too late what a pitty.. and after thinking, becaouse of their mounted being they can reach enemy line fast. maybe mostly first line wille be down because of musket volley but back lines could go on to the enemy..

sorry i may edit too Mamluks were Turkish units too, for fighting Egypt army and were trained in Egypt but...

Unfortunately, I have to confess that my Turkish is a little rusty - blame my poor education, so most of those sites mean nothing to me. The English link is just to a Total War discussion thread elsewhere that name checks them without giving any more information than you gave us. I still can't find any English sites that give any more detail, so I suspect therefore that they will not be included. I may be mistaken, but I would guess that the CA team doesn't include many Turkish...

There are lots of links but they are all Turkish websites. By the they were called "Crackers" in English, i have mistaken there. And they were cavalry man and were fast in wars. but after the researches for advance of bullets and reloading time maybe their effectiveness decreased.

Well on a quick search of Google and Wikipedia I can't find any reference to such warriors or units (at least not with the spellings you've suggested), so I would suspect they won't be in the game - the Ottomans are not exactly short of elite units that are well known. Can you provide any link to corrroborating evidence?

Have to question how effective they'd be unarmed - it doesn't matter how strong and berserk you are, charging into volleys of musket fire...

I wonder something a lot. As Turkish people, we know very famous military unit was existing in Ottoman army called "Deliler" ( in English "Mads"). They were training by smacking on marbles or stone walls. İf they stay without weapon in the war they were using their fists and smacks. They were using their their fists to kill horses and to break iron armours.They were really large sized men some kind of Lombard Berserkers. Famous "Ottoman Fist or Ottoman Smack"...
