@Nightrider1918:
The reason that it doesn't detect the other GB is because your not running a 64-Bit OS.
Also you can expect High settings with unit size set at Large.

Hey there,
Thanks for replying to me but it seems that you may have been commenting on nightrider's computer specs and not mine since you mentioned problems that he had with extra GB of memory nto being detected, any thoughts on how my computer will run, thanks. |

Hardwaremaster, I truly thank you for your help, but I need one more thing checked to see which one I should get. Of these 4 "Desktops" (I went to
"products" and clicked "Desktops") which one would meet standards for the game?
Option 1. Area-51® X58 Benchmark Destroyer Price: $1,649
Features:
Option 2.
Option 3.
Or Option 4.
The price doesn't matter, but the thing I want to know the most is which desktop would go great with the game. Thanks and reply back soon! |

Thanks Sumid- That's reassuring-good idea with the ram and as you say, its cheap enough. If the graphics quaility is too frustrating, I will look to
upgrade that as well. Its to know that it should handle it 'okish' now though. Sorry to hear you had a problem with the card! Mine is ok-not
overclocked-just standard.
Thanks for your time and advice. |

i was actually think about unit sizes last night...i hope to have them on large on my laptop but...but thinking about it as well normal would be fine. I was
reading one of my books about battles and most of the battles in the revolutionary war actually involved just only over a 1000 men

FragX wrote: I'm going to assume and say he meant 2 9600gt at 512 each in SLI if so then high would not be a problem but high with AA would be interesting as for the ram there is no need unless running a 64 bit OS because 32 wont see more then 2 GB anyway. |

2X 9600GT's is still to weak to play on high settings, in benchmarks the 9600GT is a fair card for the price, however 2 of them still only brings it to a bit under the 9800GT. I would like to know what kind of CPU you have so i can give a more accurite guess.
A RAM upgrade wouldn't really help the situation that either, unless your processor is below par. But i doubt that since it's probibly in the E6000 range.. @Sumid: We havn't really settled on what will do yet, there are still more techs that i havn't mentioned in the game. I just don't have the time to check it out again. @Clayman: Are you speaking in terms of money? or Graphics extensions? Also, i don't think the 250GTX would be in the close to highest catagory. @Paddy: Nice rig, very similar to mine. you won't be able to play on highest, but you should make very good FPS on high. And if the game is as optimized as i hope. That qaud-core should give you huge unit sizes as well.. @ Commissar Kevin: The area 51 X58 is your best bet.

Do not buy an Alienware. They are merely Dells repackaged in a cheap plastic shell and sold at extortionate
prices. Do yourself a favour and look for some good E-Sellers of pre-built gaming computers. I cannot suggest any in the U.S as I am from the U.K.
