Region of choice for Naked Fanatics and UGLI

Posts: 4780 03/05/09 13:49:38 Admiral	Tags : None Well guys, I have a good connection so I can play on about any server out there, so how bout you NF guys decide which server region you want to meet on so I can change my region in Steam to your server of choice. Read my other thread in this section to see what regions there are and how to change to them. Instead of doing it this way, we could also make a thread for each region and have people post which one they will be playing on. What sounds better: Doing it by clan/group, or by each region? Posts: 138 03/05/09 15:09:01	The UK sounds like a pretty solid choice as far as I'm concerned. I'm curious whether this will work. Earlier today, Thorin and I tried to set up a game. We are both in the same region (Benelux) and even though I could see his game (which was already an improvement!) I was not able to join it. I got the now all too familiar 'No Response From Host' or something. Additionally, I have been trying to get games going at various times throughout the games, by several different means: I tried Quick battles and I tried to join battles from the lobby. Quick battles never yielded any results, the only thing that happened was that my game more or less freaked out and I had to restart it. :P I couldn't join most of the battles from the lobby. I could only join and finish one. (which I won fortunately. I couldn't have coped with a defeat after trying to join a game all day :P ) Anyway, let's hope this resolves my issues with most people...

Posts: 138 03/05/09 17:23:07	I already added you, but just in case: Von_Lipwig NF tried to get a few games going tonight, all having the same server region (UK and Ireland) now. Unfortunately, we could only host one game that everyone could join. That one crashed halfway through, but was otherwise completely free of lag. The rest of the evening it was quite impossible to host a game that everyone could join. There were always one or more people who were unable to even get into the lobby. :(
