im having trouble with my family tree. i dont understand why my princess disappears from my family tree completely, when she successfully seduces a general
from another faction, i gain the general but he is notadded to my family tree, the princess is removed from the tree and it is as if her and her partner dont
exist.
is this normal? if not is there anyway to fix it?
any help much appreciated.

Well usually when u marry into a another country..the guy should stay in his own faction.. i think its just an anomoly in the game that cant be fixed..its
happened to me too. To me it really doesnt matter wether he shows up on my family tree or not as long as he is on my campaign map under my faction

I have seen this problem on occasion. I tend to look out for it now when I have my princess marry a foreign general/family member. At first it doesn't seem
like it's a major issue apart from not being able to see his stats. However, should they start producing children, they won't be seen on the tree
either! I went back a few saves when this happened in order to correct the issue. I didn't see it as cheating, I had to regain the territory and lost the
new family members as penance. It seems pot luck unless the CA have other opinions.
