I was interested in getting the XL mod, I've just got the MTW:VI Gold Edition and patched it to 2.01 or whatever the latest version is. But I had a couple
of questions, firstly which version will I need, large or small? Secondly, will I still be able to play unmodded MTW:VI, or will XL replace it totally?

i haven't looked in a while but i believe the two sizes of download are the accompaning music. it depends if you care about that.
i have both regular mtw/vi and a separate xl mod installation. simply start a new folder near your regular installation and call it xl mod or something like that. copy everything in the regular folder and paste it in the new xl mod folder. then when you click install for the xl mod, direct it to the xl mod folder you made. i took a copy of the .exe pick to my computer desktop and pasted it there so i don't have to go through all the folders to double click it. the .exe looks like a viking flag and says 'application'. edit: oh yeah you probably already have a icon on your desktop for mtw/vi, so when you bring the copy of the xl mod application to the desktop you will need to rename it something else. (like xl mod) edit2: sorry, i meant instead of copy xl mod application, right click the application and do "make shortcut" and bring the shortcut to the desktop.

I currently have five total war icons on the upper right side of my deskop (Stw, mtw:xl, mtw:medmod, ntw and m2tw) |
