Posts: 5 06/15/07 22:08:34	Hey great tutorial. Followed everything but haveing a slight problem when i get passed the render. My renders are just black. They play through but are just completly black with a border on the left and top of the window it rendered in. They are about 1gig for 5 sec and all i get is black. Posts: 472 06/29/07 14:08:30	I have the "start copy" and "end copy." Can your problem be about this situation? In the "cin-ed.bat" file, you have to write the correct words. Create a batch file to open cin-ed from your new config: Put "Medieval2.exe @cin-ed.cfg" in a new text file and save it as \Medieval II Totalwar\cin-ed.bat The cfg file must be named cin-ed.cfg and then you must put "Medieval2.exe @cin-ed.cfg" in the batch file. If you write "Medieval2.exe @CINED.cfg" or something which is not "Medieval2.exe @cin-ed.cfg", the batch directs you to the original game. Also some additional information. If you open the batch file to run the Cinematic Editor and eventually end up in the desktop and can't run the file, you must have written wrongly where you installed your game. In Caliban's post, it is stated that it's in C: but if you have installed it in another disk, you should change it immediately. So, you should name the config file as "cin-ed.cfg" and the batch file as "cin-ed.bat". And in the batch file(cin-ed.bat) you must write Medieval2.exe @cin-ed.cfg. Pay attention to the name of the files. Your config file is named cin-ed.cfg and in the batch file it must be Medieval2.exe @cin-ed.cfg Hope it helps.

Posts: 50 07/03/07 05:20:53	Thanks to the many posts about this editor I have been able to get it up and running perfectly and I know practically nothing about computers but I have run into an annoying problem that I know has a simple solution. I am at my wits end trying to figure it out though. The rewind button always starts me over at the beginning of the replay, it never simply rewinds a frame or two. How am I supposed to properly use these features?
