I have solved our problem. We are renaming the text document instead of saving as, and then changing the name to ... cin-ed.bat. I have my .bat file program
now, and it's time to experiment (tomorrow).
Now, you must create a batch file. Create a text document again. Open it with wordpad and copy the following in it: Medieval2.exe @cin-ed.cfg When you are done with that, save it and change its name to cin-ed.bat. But, be aware, that the first document you created must be named cin-ed.cfg, this is important because you put Medieval2.exe @cin-ed.cfg in the batch file. |

Now that I have the .bat file, when I go to run it, it just loads the game up and not the editor. I see that others have had this problem as well.

I give up for now. If anyone wants to email me the two files, that would be much appreciated ... turboterrific@sympatico.ca

Well I don't have those files to hand. But the easiest method of doing it is to turn off hidden file extensions like this:
http://shoguntotalwar.yuku.com/reply/185023/t/Hotseat-Help.html#reply-185023 Then simply rename the files using Exporer, i.e. remove the extra .txt extension. |

one thing that i find kinda strange is that troops dont rout anymore. neither are the troop flags stuff there. is this normal?

that flag stuff is a setting in the render config "show_banners = 0" change it back to 1 when you wanna see the banners in your rendering...
