So far, in every Macedonian campaign I play the province of Cyrene in North Africa revolts and join my faction after a certain number of turns (some time after
the plague). This almost always implies going to war with Egypt since they generally own the province by that time. Needless to say, this is very annoying
, I get a poor province which is very difficult and costly to defend,
trade with the Egyptian stops, their fleets start harassing the hell out of my ships and ports, etc.), by that time all my war effort is 100% directed against
the Roman families and barbarians from the north, and trying to get a ceasefire by way of the crappy RTW diplomacy is pointless. Have you guys encounter this
situation? If this event is scripted (like the plague) is there a way to mod the game so I can get rid of it?

What I'd like is a way to avoid being at war with them this early in the
game.
