Posts: 10435 Aug 18 07 9:16 AM Tribune	Wrong forum. Moved. 1. The Senate will like you most if you complete the missions they give you. Some retainers will also give popularity bonuses. The People will love you if you conquer many cities for the glory of the Empire. And some retainers will also give popularity bonuses. 2. I'd say whenever you have enough troops to take and hold the city. That's usually towards the end.

Posts: 13 Aug 18 07 7:52 PM	1. yes, complete the senate's missions to gain their admiration. build entertainment and lower taxes to gain popularity with the common people. but, the most you can get from the senate's admiration is 10,000 Dinarii or "Senate's Assistance". i'm not quit sure how the latter works. 2. you will not see the civil war in the short campaign. unless, you play beyond the victory(or complete the victory after the civil war-which is alittle silly).
