I wont buy the game if Sweden wont be playable, ever since rome total war i have been longing for something set in this era, cus then i always thought "How can they not add Sweden then?" obviously i was extremly wrong and naive. And about the continents? Wont Europe be there? I mean wtf? sorry about my spelling, im to dissapointed to actually care about it atm.

It will make a difference, whether you settle in the wilderness of the Americas, or whether you can use preexisting infrastructure in India. - All infrastructure built within a province, will be represented on the Strategic Map. You can upgrade buildings, by clicking on them on the Strageic Map. There will still be a capital though. - Revolutions can happen, leading to the separation of countries. (As an example, a rebellion of the Scotts was given). - You can change the form of government between: absolute monarchy, constituional monarchy, and Republic. This will directly influence how you can deal with revolts and how fast you develop new technologies. Other factions will treat you according to your form of government. - Taxes can be set seperately for Nobles, Burghers, and Peasants. - Diplomats, Spies and Assassins will no longer be represented on the map. - The mercenary system will be reworked. While you can still hire mercenaries they won't be incorporated into your regular army. How this works out exactly is not clear yet. - Infantry can occupy buldings. They will automatically take up defensive positions and fire out of windows/doors. - You can choose between three types of ammunition. - The event movies will be in also, as there are already some screenshots from them too. Posts: 7 08/28/07 16:14:16	Oh common?! At this point Sweden was more of a world power then russia was, Russia only became a respectable empire AFTER defeating Sweden. Nothing more to add, it would just be a sign of incredible incompetence if Sweden wont be playable since their might of the beginning of the time set was beyond Russias. And all previous TotalWar Games have always ignored Swedens pressence, rightfully or not, thats your opinion, but at a time set at this age there should be no remotely way you can do that. As you guys surley must have noticed, there are allot of Swedes hanging out on these forums that are playing various totalwar games, and im sure that there are even more of us not even visiting theese forums, but try to make your Swedish audience happy for a change, it's like one of the extremley verry few European nations you have forgotten. EDIT: I still think that Russia should be in the game, but i still belive Sweden really should have reserved spot.

Napoleon wasn't a mercenary or a knight fighting for himself like El Cid he was fighting for France, which he even compared to his wife... Napoleon was a French general who won battles in the name of France and then became First consul and finally Emperor of France. Imagining Napoleon as an Italian or - worse- and English general is nonsense Would it make sense to you if Malbourough or Wellington could be French generals in ETW?
