Posts: 189 10/06/08 23:17:47	Alright, I've had problems with the retrofit mod I believe. Once I install it, and follow it with the grand unit addon and stone fort mod, suddenly my explorer.exe won't start properly. I just get my wallpaper when I start the computer. I have to ctrl-alt-del, end explorer.exe and restart it. On top of that, it was causing problems with LOTRO. :\| Anyone else having this issue? I love MTWII but man it's a pain in the backside. I can't keep it installed and play my other game :\| It's gonna make me cry!!!

Mine is all working fine though. Have you read through all the instructions and FAQs carefully? The smallest change can make the game crash! I've done it to my own game when I've tinkered with it many a time...

I can't keep it installed and play my other game :\| It's gonna make me cry!!! Nope, out of the 20,000+ people that have downloaded my mod, you're the only person to report that problem. Installing the files from the GUAM wouldn't have anything to do with your explorer.exe file (assuming you didn't install the GUAM into some critical Windows directory or something weird like that). It sounds more likely you have a bad sector on your Hard Drive, and when my mod was installed onto that sector, your computer got $@$%. I'd run a check-disk and see if the error can be corrected. Properly installed, the Retrofit and the GUAM mod work perfectly.

Posts: 46 10/30/09 15:44:21	I know this is a lame question but in section 4 of the first post it says: - Version 1.0 of the Retofit Mod is designed to work with M2TW: Kingdoms with M2TW updated to version 1.03.000. Version 1.0 of the Retrofit Mod may not work correctly with future versions of M2TW: Kingdoms and M2TW. Does it work with M2TW: Kingdoms updated to 1.05? I've been searching for an answer through the whole thread but didn't found anything. Edit: Allright, found it -_-"
