I'm assuming that they're fixes and improvements from kingdoms.exe, but is there a list somewhere of what some of these fixes are?

Sorry, I do not have a list. There are also some data fixes and improvements also, but I cannot recall precisely what they were. The Kingdoms exe contains a lot of fixes and improvements over all areas of the game. Unspoken Knight |

Got it, that makes perfect sense. My only concern is that I'll install the Kingdoms patch and suddenly my RetroMod-Mod will stop working! In truth, I'm
not really even caring that much about the Kingdoms patch anymore, which is really surprising. But, I really find that I don't like the Kingdom's
campaigns all that much, I mostly just like the new music, interfaces, forts, and units, of course. All of which can be modded to the Grand Campaign via the
RetroMod.

Omg i hadnt thought of all that, it took me forever getting the retro units mod working lol. It would suck to have to redo it all, and it would suck even more
if the patch made it so its impossible to use it. I NEED the kingdoms units!

I do not forsee any problems with using an already installed Retrofit Mod (or other kingdoms mods) after any Kingdoms patches are applied. Since the Retrofit
Mod runs from the vanilla version of M2TW and does not directly reference content from other mods (including kingdoms), patching the kingdoms data will not
affect Retrofit Mod data. The only issue that could affect the Retrofit Mod is if a new kingdoms exe uses different data formats for one or more files, but I
think this is unlikely. I beleive this generally holds true for other kingdoms mods inluding the unit add-on mod. There could be issues (e.g. installation
warnings) installing the Retrofit Mod or other current Kingdoms mods after kingdoms patches are applied, but I do not believe there will be any significant
problems.

this is all screwed up Mad getting this Mod of your to work is completely fubared I think you need to make a install program to do this all working for us because let face it should not be this hard to get this thing working.
I tried that bat file thing it did one but refused to do the other ones then we have to get that Atone program then put it all in the sensitive Med folder to many thing to go wrong and thing to screw up. you can't expect the general public to do this for them self's it like asking them to understand a nuclear generator design.

The Retrofit mod installs very easily. Just download the executable file and run it. You need the Kingdoms expansion to play it. And, that's about it. |

And the general public doesn't play mods, they just play the game as-released. If you want to play mods, you need to have a basic understanding of Window's folders and how to unzip files. If you can't master those basic computing skills, go buy and Xbox.

It is beneficial for people installing the Kingdoms Units Add-on for Retrofit Mod to note the difference and post any issues and comments in the correct thread. I think you need to make a install program to do this all working for us because let face it should not be this hard to get this thing working. The Retrofit Mod (Not the Kingdoms Units Add-On for Retrofit Mod) does come with a very streamlined install program. Oh.... sorry got them mix up a bit and yes im having a bad hair day I had to restall Med 2 and kingdoms because of trying to get the unit add on working so I
reinstall it all which takes ages for kingdoms because you have to sit there and watch it.
I did the patching then I though i though il have so fun now so I climbed up my ladder into my bunk bed so I can read a book under my light. I have a table under my bunk where my computer is and I think I bumped the power cord climbing up the ladder so it shut the computer down so I have to do this all over again: (. And I like the idea that some one suggested about the Xbox only problem is that console games are very limited and there online horrid there controls are shizzer and you can't get the quality of games like this one on them usually there are exeptions like halo and ocarina of time on 64 those two where exeptions. And my friend Roy said you can put console games on PS3 but only problem is you still have install them on it not a big advantage there : / in that. So I finish this grip off and go pout some more by saying the MED 2 is the best strategy game ever made but the install program for kingdoms is a pain in the neck it too long and you have to sit there and monitor it you can walk away you have to sit there pressing YES OVER AND OVER AGAIN. And knight congratulations on you're first born where all very happy for you I know you will be a good father : ). Just a bit of advice. Give your osspring chores around the house and duties when there 7 or younger or older that will be very good for them it get them used to working and will help them immeasurably in later life and make your life a hell of a lot easier I must say because you will have some little helpers around.
