Well I played kingdoms for the first time this morning, and started off as Ireland on a short campaign. I'm impressed with the campaign itself but the
battles are BUGGY. for a start when I select a unit, it seems to "hold down" the CTRL key, so when I click on another unit, it just selects both of
them. I can't deselect the first unit, so it just messes up the battles. Also, on my first battle, I was seiging Derry, which was held by the english. I
bashed down thewalls with my catapults, but then couldnt select individual troops, because of afore mentioned error. So I just pressed CTRL+A and selected all
my troops, then charged in. I completely overwhelmed their litle army, except for one unit of archers which retreated to the town square. I ordered everyone
to attack, they went about five yards, then turned back again!!?? It took ages for any of them to move, eventually i got some light cavalry to run them down,
but it was really WEIRD. So that has completely ruined battles, which is a rotten shame. Is it just me or is anyone else experiencing difficulties. I'm
running the game in Vista BTW, maybe that's a prob, but i never had any prob running original Med 2.
