Posts: 6 12/08/07 16:18:44	Tags : pope, jihad How to call the Jihad? I always played with catholic and call a cruzade with them is easy. Now I'm playing with slamic nations and wanna "Call the Jihad" but I don't know how. How do I do it?!

Posts: 5233 12/08/07 16:28:23 Veles	All you need is an Imam with 4 Piety rating and you can call a Jihad as long as an appropiate amount of time has past since the last Jihad. I wouldn´t count on getting to much help though, the 2 other Muslim factions are usually either to far away, destroyed, or simply not interested to join. Remember, since the Muslims don´t have a Pope, there arn´t really any penalty for failnig to join. If your the Moors and the Turks calls a Jihad on Baghdad while your busy fighting Portugal feel free to ignore the call.

Posts: 173 12/08/07 16:30:42	To declare a Jihad click on one of your Imams and in his information scroll and you should see it on the bottom left of the scroll but they must have a piety of 4 or over 4 to call one.

Posts: 849 12/11/07 13:09:35	I had no problem with chivalry when I sack. The successfully completed holly war gives such a chivalry boost that sacking doesn't negate it.

Posts: 203 12/11/07 14:31:01	I really think it is too easy for Islamic factions to call a Jihad compared to a christian faction calling a crusade. Just play as the Turks and you can literally expand using Jihads. By the time I am finished taking Asia Minor and Anatolia my youngest general has the title "Holy Warrior" from taking part in so many of them. Even though he still gets the "pagan magician" trait... GRRRR!

Posts: 849 12/12/07 16:34:22	Well, I had such an experience with Muslim factions too, Dieu le fera(and I hate "pagan magician" as well; I think it should at least give some dread!). But in my current campaign as Poland, I managed to make the Pope love me from the start. So, I was the one who asked for all the Crusades so far and thus managed to get there 1st. I have two living Grand Crusaders.
