Posts: 69 12/09/07 11:44:21	Tags : nubian, spearman, carthage During the Carthage campaign I had a battle against the Egyptians who for the third time came to attack one of my towns. I successfully destroyed and routed the enemy quickly and pressed continue to rout the rest of them with my fast cav. However after all was said and done the game did not finish. So I scoured the whole battlefield for any stragglers and couldn't see any until I checked the little map on the bottom left hand side. Lo and behold a Nubian Spearman was falling over, doing back flips landing and getting up continually on the farside of the field . If you don't know what I mean check this out - I've only put it onto You-tube about 10 minutes ago so it might not be there just yet. Posts: 69 12/10/07 09:59:22	If you watch the vid you will see that only one guy from the cavalry comes out of the line - looks him up and down and then stabs him to put him out of his misery. First time this funny anomaly has happened to me!

Posts: 161 12/10/07 11:43:01	this happened to me when i was fightng the rebels. these javelin throwers (i cant think of the name right now) were routing. they looked like they were running, but they werent going anywhere. and when i told my guys to attack them, they moved away from the enemy. it was weird.

Posts: 5233 12/13/07 08:44:10 Veles	Another similar annoying thing is when on or your guys get stuck in a walking animation but just continues to slowly walk backwards. The most I´ve seen was 8 guys doing it at the same time. Even worse, they were part of a phalanx, that was easily broken with several vital pikes missing from the formation.

Posts: 552 12/15/07 13:52:37	I hate it when you are doing a seige battle and your guys get stuck in alleys or can't get into the seige tower and just end up freezing. That was pretty funny. I once had a guy who was doing that but about 20 ft in the air. He go hit by an elephant and just did not want to come down to be finished off

Posts: 202 12/15/07 14:04:35	General appo, I have even more annoying bug at XGM. Phalanx just scatters all around after fighting phalanx versus phalanx for a while. I hate that when it happens, couple of guys keep battling, but others go to check for beers or something, they just leave their friends to fight and start to roam on a battlefield. Not funny at all :(

Posts: 5233 12/15/07 15:19:13 Veles	The worst I´ve seen was when I ordered a phalanx to exit the gates of a fort and half the guys got walked the other way. The rest looked like they were walking the right way only backwards, which meant that they were cut down as soon as they got to the enemy.

Any explanations would be very interesting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOOnwFh6bS8 bakflips? no i think i know this: i remember that if u like squash ur infantry during deployment by placing cavalry all over them or chariots or elephants, when u start battle, some of the soldiers will bakflip unexpectedly. seriously! try it.
