Posts: 7 03/31/08 20:22:57	Tags : marius hi im new to the forums. my question is that i modded the game to be the senate and also modded a file to have post-marius units before the event happens. It worked but when the message came up i noticed that my cities were not able to create post-marian units anymore. I had urban barracks in Rome and all i could train was town watch??? can anyone help me with this?

Posts: 41 03/31/08 22:35:53	do you mean, that you were the senate or do you mean that you were one of the other roman families? the senate can not get post marius first, (i think i am right?) i beleave that one of the other families need too do it, before the senate gets any reforms, (but i may be wrong)

Posts: 274 04/01/08 15:17:34	Ok reading the original post it says you were playing as the senate and you had the marian reforms message come up. Is that correct? Id assume 1 of the other romaqn factions built the imperial palace and triggered the reforms. When you edited the file export_descr_buildings to allow you to build post marian troops before the reforms did you change them to read the same as pre marian troops? IE add "and_not_marian_reforms" at the end of the recruitment line? If so theres your problem....you need to go back into this file and either change it back to "and_marian_reforms" OR just delete this bit so they can be built pre and post reforms Hope that helps, let me know!
