Posts: 3 04/06/08 01:50:19	Tags : heir Hey everyone im new here (as you all can probably see) and had had a little quiery. In shogun total war i was playing as clan Mori, and i owned literally the south of japan, when my lord died. After about 1590 i stopped having kids, and when my lord died, i had no heirs. A previous lord had died leaving me with a 22 year old heir, and yet he didnt have any kids! Help? Shoguns3rp3nt...

Posts: 9128 04/07/08 10:14:28 Administrator	The heirs in STW come from a fixed list, ie every clan has a fixed number of heirs (with fixed starting command) appearing at a fixed timing. Your job right now is to win before he dies (either by old age, in battle or assassinated). In other words, keep your heirs alive! They are invaluable as commanders as well so when having them on the battlefield, don't let them get killed. If enemy geishas start appearing, I think you really need to hurry up.

In any case, there will be no more heirs (unlike MTW), so you need to finish before he dies. I don't know when Empire will be out (if you want updates, check the Empires section).
