Hello there!
Yesterday I purchased The Rome: Total War 3-pack (Rome: Total War + Medieval: Total War Gold Edition + Shogun: Total War Gold Edition), and I faced a few problems. First off, my pc crashes during play of Rome: Total War, but I'll just buy some more RAM and hope it works (I currently have 512 RAM..).
But another problem, that's why I created this topic, is that when I pop in the Medieval: Total War CD, some weird error occurs.
I'll try explaining what I do exactly and what happens:
1. I put the CD in my PC
2. There comes a Total War screen with buttons saying "Install" "Play" (can't click that one yet) etc.
3. I click the "Install" button (Like I should do)
4. It says "preparing setup"
5. Once it's about done preparing, there comes a box saying:
"An error (-5006 : 0x80070005) has occured while running setup.
Please make sure you have finished any previous setup and closed other applications.
If the error still occurs, please contact your vendor: The Creative Assembly (http://www.totalwar.com)."
I've tried installing for several times, in several circumstances, but the error always occurs when trying to install the game!
