when i first tried to play the game i went to the campaign tutorial. it worked for a while, but at what seemed like it was probably halfway through, the
game froze up then after a few seconds the screen went blank and the monitor started telling me there was no input. i shut down the computer then when it was
back on i downloaded the 1.1 patch and tried again. this time it did the same thing only the game never even started just as soon as i tried to start, the
monitor went blank and did it again.
...so is this a known issue with a known fix, or is this just me? cuz my specs according to the packaging are just fine with the exception that it says it can
use windows anything up to xp where i have vista.

Welcome to the forums. I am sorry you are having problems. I doubt anybody in this forum can help you. If you go back to the main forum listings, near the
bottom are technical help forums with one geared toward MTW. Go there to seek help. They will want you to post some data. Just follow the instructions. Hope
they can help you.

are you using an early ATI card?
have you checked the "original" v1.1 readme file fot the list of vid cards supported? i've heard of this problem happening before but only with players using ATI cards that are not compatible |

I had the same problem but I updated my video card and it was solved, so do the same :)
