Posts: 1887 Mar 10 09 8:10 AM CA Staff and Admin	Tags : None Hi guys, We will be rolling out the first of a series of updates later today with a variety of fixes for Empire: Total War, including: Fixed Alt-Tab issue which prevents players from switching away from a full screen window Fixed text rendering for certain resolutions Fixed localized font overrun issues. Fixed a variety of crash and memory leak issues Fixed a variety of multiplayer client lock Fixed trade nodes for those nations with resource in home region which caused unprofitable trade theatre routes eg: Sweden and Marathas. There is a constant support program in process which is using your feedback as well as our own testing. We are currently working on the next update which will be available early next week. While this is good news, I must say I'm somewhat disappointed that there is no fix for the bug that makes you unable to starve out a city in a siege... after all this is a basic mechanic of the gameplay and really needs to be addressed. Anyway guys keep up the good work.

If it were possible I want to the CA staff to know how much I appreciate their quality support and feedback post release of ETW. I look forward to the continued support of the game, this is what a good game developer is defined by imo based on the quality of post release support of a game.

Also, can you delay combat for the NEXT turn whenever an army lays siege to a region capital? so that you can't sneak-capture all of france with a small army? The problem is the AI doesn't ever defend, it only patrols with its armies and takes back stuff you've taken, but so since it cant ever actually DEFEND because its armies are patroling, militia units in cities are made utterly redundant, because they can't stand on their own without reinforcement from a regular force
