Posts: 94 04/01/09 16:14:33	Tags : infantry Hey everyone. So far from the game, in terms of line infantry, the only nation I have seen that has a massive unit of line infantry is the Austrians. What I want to know is what nations in the game have this same amount of line infantry in their units? And also, it seems that these units have a lower morale... As a subsidiary question, what is the largest army that people have created? (Post your scale so we know what to compare to...) Posts: 1391 04/01/09 16:16:54	Yea, each country has slightly different stats. Prussia has the best melee, shooting combination- while Russia has the highest melee- they are poor at shooting. Britain is another good choice as Prussia would be though.

Line Infantry Standard Amounts (Large Scale) Brits: 120 Prussians: ? Austrians: 150? French: 120 Russians: ? etc.....

Posts: 299 04/01/09 16:38:36	I suppose it depends on the tatics you employ in battle. I prefer The british as i am more Defensive orientated. But If you were more attacking minded you might go for France and the one inbetween would be prussia

"Will there be more guards units released for the other major factions in the game? For example, the Dutch Nassau troops? Or The Young, Middle and Old Guard Units?" That would be awesome. Posts: 3003 04/01/09 16:46:45	You'll have to wait for the Napoleonic expansion for that I think. That's a sore subject a lot of countries missed out a half decent unit roster.. making this game a tad dull in the unit department..

With the amount of strife that people have been reporting over the past couple of weeks (There wasn't this much in Rome or Med II), are we ever going to see it? In my honest opinion, if they can make the British Guards, they can make the rest....don't you think? Or shall I just be patient.....hehehe

Posts: 186 04/01/09 21:04:02	The Ottoman infantry in David's table above seems to be the Isralys, which are really more a militia. The professional Jannisaries are much nicer. The Nizam are a relatively late game unit, and as Sahin mentions they have a reduced cost, which seems to be an intended part of the Nizam reorganization. I can see why he likes them in multiplayer...
