Posts: 1368 06/08/09 14:36:19	ive re downloaded the game... reinstalled everything, and the save still doesnt work :( i haven't got the hotfix (i think thats included in the 1.1 patch) cant find the download link anymore. Also, do i just put the hotseat save in the mod/save folder and then open the game and load... This is what im doing, it isnt working.

Posts: 888 06/08/09 22:21:37 Landsman	Yeah Matty the save should be put in the mods/third_age/saves folder wherever you installed Kingdoms, once the save is there you just run the third age mod and load the save. If you have Kingdoms, 1.5 patch and the 1.1 version of TATW i cant think why it isn't working The save game is showing up as a SAV file right, around 1,024 KB ? Have you tried getting the save file in an email instead of downloading it from a fileshare site, maybe it is corrupting when you download it or something

Apparently his mod does not have a save file folder, and he can therefore not find his saved files. Which I find strange. Does any of you know whether the save file folder is only created after using the mod for the first time? So, I am waiting for news. I agree that it is a bit unnerving.

Posts: 6840 06/15/09 09:31:15 Administrator	Ok, Marcus, try the following: start a campaign, any campaign with the TATW mod. save the game. Then have a look in the mod folder. Unless you have created your own save folder somewhere else (and I think that is the problem) the save folder should be in there. If it isn't please re-install the mod, but get rid of the save folder you created first. I think that by creating a folder you have confused the game. Try that.

Posts: 426 06/16/09 05:12:50	You can play immediately, but you don't have the a folder to place the file in. So you can avoid this by doing a turn with any faction... This will generate an autosave, and therefore also a folder "saves". You can also create the folder yourself, but doing a turn is easier.
