Posts: 1 05/26/09 18:07:47	Hi, I have download and installed Medieval II (+Kingdoms) using Steam. For a while it worked fine. Lately, when loading the game, I get a script error (http://204.155.67.203/med...ls.php?Language=English, Line 9,Char 1, Syntax Error, Code 0). In the Launcher's window I see a lot of MySql warnings: Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Too many connections in /export/home2/aparker/htdocs/M2TWLauncher/cgi-bin/Scripts/Tier1/MySQLDriver.php on line 907 Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Too many connections in /export/home2/aparker/htdocs/M2TWLauncher/cgi-bin/Scripts/Tier1/MySQLDriver.php on line 1209 Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Too many connections in /export/home2/aparker/htdocs/M2TWLauncher/cgi-bin/Scripts/Tier1/MySQLDriver.php on line 907 What's up? Any idea?

Posts: 13649 05/27/09 07:00:42 Administrator	I'm guessing the server is down that contains the polls etc so you might see that in the launcher...is this relevant to being able to run the game?

Posts: 8 06/19/09 12:37:38	It seems that it is relevant to running the game as I can't play kingdoms. When I launch kingdoms, I just get the launcher that doesn't wok. I can play vanilla fine though.

Posts: 2 06/26/09 21:38:03	I Created a Amusing Fixs, nothing provocative it just replaces the launcher content with a classic british comedy group all dressup from there big cult medieval movie classic, Wink Wink! Just Download the fix from my blog and on the plus side I have a great speed increase from the launcher with the fix in place! http://gavanmenzies.com/downloads/syntax-error-fix.zip Enjoy, and spread It around, but please leave the read me texts file intact the same way it came!
