Im entirely uncertain how the mpc works... do I need a constant partner? or is it jump in and out game? If it is the former, who wants to play with me? hehe I
am in South East Asia and a veteran TW player since RTW.

You'll be able to sign up at that point to participate in the free open beta trial." How long do you think the trial will last? 1 week, maybe 2? hate to be pessimistic, but this is pretty upsetting considering its gonna cost us to play the MPC which was promised to us so long ago. |

Thats probably a better question for CA or Sega to answer but steam has had weekend specials in the past for etw, i guess you just have to keep checking.
or to put it into perspective for your friends, I have spent double the purchase amount on nights out on the town and only got a headache in the morning and a obscure phone number on a napkin that ended up being a wrong number. With ETW the money spent gives you entertainment for a long long time with no headaches, mostly. |

Thats true enough, i do not mind paying a little for the MP Campain but i hope it is only a little, as i paid enough for the original boxed game the last thing
i want to be doing is paying through the nose again for MP Campain.
Would be nice though if they allow you to have your own MP Campain server and have say 4 friends on and be keep coming back to the game. I suppose not long to wait and see now. :) |

The mutiplayer grand campaign is free as long as youve bought the game.....im not sure were this rumour got started that the MPGC is gonna cost people
something.

No but seriously, thanks for clearing up what you guys mean by Beta and Trial... The Beta/Trial names plus the comment from Mike Simpson about it being a benchmark for future TW games made it sound to me as if they are using the beta to just get it ready for Naopleon or that it might just be something that would be available for limited time. If they actually keep supporting this game while working on Napoleon I will definately also buy Napoleon, CA just needs to show us that they are not going to abandon the game at this point and keep working on it alongside napoleon. |

Keiran and Mark have both confirmed in the sticky announcement that Shire's assumptions are indeed correct. So apart from what I paid for Empire, and the
cost of internet bills, the only thing that the MPC is going to cost me is my social life! XD

Easy do like i do and get the wife to play as well :) I am glad its going to be a free, I really can not wait for it to come out now and i am counting each day, if its reall goo i know what i can buy all my freinds for xmas :) I just home you can have say 4 of 5 players not just 2 on the campain, but not long now to find out :) Although just playing 2 people on the MPC will be fantatic.

As said in the announcement thread, the word 'trial' only refers to the fact that this is a first time thing for CA. The MPC isn't going to be
withdrawn after a certain amount of time.
