It's a cross reference to the witch trial scene in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. One of the many "proofs" that the witch is a witch is the claim by a peasant that "She turned me into a newt!", from a patently non-newt human being, which is immediately qualified by a "I got better, though..."

February is the last month of winter. Since It has been removed from the coming soon list (only AVP is scheduled now for February release on steam, NTW was on the list and removed) I would like to think it has been rescheduled for December 2010 unless Sega is pushing for a sooner release and we will see it January. This is fine to me since the engine according to Mile is not firing on all cylinders gives CA enough time to try and fix this engine before the release this game.
