Hey all, I've just restarted playing RTW, after having installed it on an external high speed hard drive. I have a duo core 2.4 Ghz processor, and an nVidia Geforce 9600GT graphics card.
My issue is that the game now races through battles at close to olympic athlete speed. No other issues, in fact game play is beautiful apart from the fast movement rates.
I know there are issues with duo and multi-core processors, so what I'm after is any advice on how to slow the battle play down a bit. Sure, it's great to have a battle over in five minutes, but it's a frantic five minutes...lol.
I don't know if the drive swap is the issue, but I've noticed that most of my games that I've installed on the external have had noticeable performance increases.
