The body seems to have simply way too much inertia coming off of the ramp, but even so it wound up right in the water so something odd's going on. Thoughts? Posts: 1154 Apr 16 10 7:48 AM	Agreed, with his velocity and the shape he makes before impact (a bomb, basically), hardly any water is thrown over the side. The splash goes up, like something has been dropped directly into it from above. There are too many factors. Friction, exact angle of launch, exact angle of leaving the ramp, wind speed and direction (assuming there was one), any flaw in movement whilst on the ramp would affect the trajectory, the shape of his body as he travels creating even more variables.... I'm still not sure what it means or how launching a kid across half an acre of yard using a ski jump and a slip and slide has anything to do with computers or software.
