Fellow fans of the Sharpe series, chew on this...
A while back, Bernard Cornwell, responding to a question re: the identity of Sharpe's father, gave the following riddle as to his identity:
"Take you out, put me in and a horse appears in this happy person!"
This has had me stumped in the months since I first saw it, but I have plenty of company, no doubt! As far as I know, no one has figured it out yet.
