Well my new copy of Shogun arrived at the weekend and it was amazing how even though it's ten years old you could still see direct comparisons with Napoleon. I tell you if they didn't have Total War in their names you would still be able to tell that they belonged to the same series of games
this might be of topic but i must ask, are the battles running well on vista?
I tried the 1st tutorial level, started a campaign, played about 5 turns and fought a bridge battle and the game ran perfectly apart from one problem, If I clicked on the advisor in the throne room the game would crash with an error message about I needed to disable my debugger software, it even mentioned two pieces of software that could be causing the problem but I couldn't find them in the task manager to disable them

Nero 6 installed? Post in the STW section. I'll check it out tomorrow.
Ok I've had another look and captured the message I get. My version is the UK gold edition, I am running it on Vista and yes I do have Nero installed but it is Nero 7 Ultra edition.
I could not find Winice or Softice in my task manager to close down.
