I just wanted to know. What is(are) your funniest multiplayer battle(s) ever? Discuss the battle of the person above you.
I haven't really had any funny battles. My funniest one was a clan recruiting game for a clan called [romearmy]. I was bored and didn't want to join any clan, but I joined the game anyway.
The host's rules were "max 10 units", and I think his money was like 50k or something.
Straightaway upon seeing someone join his game, the host picked greece and proceeded to formulate his evile(notice the "e") master army, which was 2 greek cav, 2 cretan archers, and a bunch of spartans. All of which were barely upgraded, even with the 10 units limit and the extreme money level.
I was expecting this, so I just went Carthage and chose 8 g/g sacred band with full xp, and 2 g/g balearic slingers with full xp.
When the battle started, he immediately charged my balearic slingers with his greek cav, who immediately routed when they touched the balearics. After this, he started to run all of his spartans at my general, who was on a hill in a loose phalanx. The rest of my sacred bands were hidden right next to his flank.
I chaged my hidden sacred bands at his left flank, and proceeded to skirmish with my balearics against his flank. Soon spartans were dying by the hundreds, but the host didn't care. He kept running up to my general, who kept running away. Soon he had less than 100 troops left(huge unit size) against my 8 mostly intact Sb's. I asked him if he was having fun, and he replied 'yes'.
